EFI101 course in Yakima! Who's going?
Since May 1st is coming really quick, I figured I'd throw out a thread about the EFI 101 tuning seminar in Yakima.
Is anyone from H-T going?
Any caravans going down?
Any meets before hand?

Me too.
I guess no chance of a caravan since there is only 1 reply.
What is there to do in Yakima?

Yakima is in central washington. There is absolutely NOTHING to do in Yakima. Its a complete ghetto, whenever I go down there I think I'll be shot at. The population is 99% Mexicans and Indians rolling old Suburbans on chrome 20s. All I can tell you guys is to lock doors and set alarms.
Why the hell would Yakima be picked for this anyway?? Nobody is the area really cares about engine tuning. Theyre mostly concerned with who has the most chrome and biggest rims.
Well, Im done bitching. As you can tell I hate the the place due to some bad experiences

After spending the mid-last half of the 90's competing in lowrider shows, I've had a lot of great experiences with ghettos and guns in America.
That's kind of why I wanted to know if there was a caravan or something.
Does anyone know of any good places to stay in Yakima?

good place to go camping at. I stayed there for two weeks before. It would be much more fun to camp by the river and do some fishing as well as drag race on the quiet roads there. haa haa.

Theres an Economy Inn that looks to be about 4 blocks away from Autometrics. I don't know if I want to stay at an Economy Inn though.
Check out yakima-hotel.com

Woot!
I just reserved at the Ramada Limited in Yakima.
It looks to be about a block away from Autometrics, and has respectable room rates.

It looks like prices vary a bit.
Someone else I was talking to reserved for $65 at the Ramada. Best Western Peppertree was $85. I got a 2 b/r suite for $110.
EFI GUY, it looks like your about 10 blocks away.

Seattle would have even been nice.
But this is closer than Pheonix or LA, so I'm not complaining.
I've never been to Yakima, but the US has some pretty good highway systems. I can't see any issues getting there.
We're leaving tonight too.

Eli,..... you don't like the Tri-Cities cause all our cars make you jealous! .
I'll be there, along with Tsuperbike69 (Travis), and my roommate and another good friend of mine, possibility of techs from Torquefreaks showing up too, as well as some guys from Supraforums.com will be there. So.... be there or be square.
See you all on SATURDAY!
