I'll be taking it next time it is on the east coast, i cant make it to the CT class this year.

Never took it before, but I can assure you it is worth the money.

I gotta look into this... it's a little pricey especially for the advanced course... but looks like it'd be worth it.

I agree as well.

Took both classes with Geoff in Rochester back in November and January.

Its the best money I have spent towards performance!

I've put what I learned from the class and made my own spreadsheet for tuning. After one pull or one good third gear tug on the street I can adjust my fuel maps to reach my target A/F ratio with in seconds.

You'll spend $500 easily on engine management stuff, why not spend $500 and learn what to do with it? This class is by far the best money you can spend on your car, and more importantly, yourself. Knowledge doesn't become used and worthless with time like car parts do. I like the Apexi slogan "knowledge is power"...

That just gave me an idea for the shop. "Knowledge is power. At T1RD We offer both."

How basic is the basic class?

Because I'm not really looking to spend near 500 bucks and then 1k on the advanced if I can just skip to advanced...

Well I guess a little refresher never hurt noone.

Just curious though... would the basic course make someone experienced fall asleep or what?

The editor of Turbo Magazine (an experienced tuner) came to the class for an hour to write a story on the school. He wound up staying for both days. He came out after the first day saying..."Damn, I didn't know how little I knew."

a lot of people assume that because the class is call 101 that it is basic. It is actually very complex and while there will be a lot of review for an advanced tuner, there is still plenty to be learned as well for every skill level. {Including me}
