Default ecu for turbo

i have 2000 gsr odi2 ecu....i don't have money to go with the hondata setup right now ($1300 stage 3 with odi1 chipped). my question is what ecu do u recommend, either p28 chipped or obi2 type r? thank you.

Do not use a standard "chipped" P28 with the MUGEN/Spoon/Skunk/Yourmama program in it... too much advance on the ignition in the upper RPM's....

well if ur not going to get soemthing like hondata right now, use your ORIGINAL unchipped OBD2 ecu. Your prolly going to throw a code so getting a missing link is not a bad idea.

thanks for the input. i do have a check engine light on now, its due to a bad cat.
