Default Ecu problem ? Ectune program

I have a 1995 turbo built block Ls/vtec integra.Ok so i drove to school and came outside to leave started my car and it started and shut right off about 3 seconds later. I noticed i dident hear my 255 fuel pump prime so i towed the car home but a spare fuel pump in and the car still wouldent start. I then put in a new main relay and still no start or prime so i checked the fuses everything good. I got the test light out and pulled the pgmfi fuse and the test light showed no power. Everytime i used to put my key in the on position the check engine would blink twice to prove im running Ectune. Now it just stays soild. ANY ideas please let me know im hoping to put another ecu in tomorrow to test

check thermostat ground, well all grounds for that matter, most likely this is your problem

We have a similar problem on a car here at the shop. Ectune also. I dont think its an ECTUNE problem but we're not sure yet.

We've added grounds, changes ecus, dizzy, harness, everything including pump and main relay. The car runs for a bit and shuts off when ever it wants. No consistent times either, sometimes it runs for 5 mins others an hour....very wierd

I had that problem from a small water leak getting the ostrich wet. I actually lost the tune and CEL wouldn't blink. Once it was dried out and the tune reloaded it all worked fine and has since then. deff check the grounds too though

I would inspect the main capacitor at location C14 on the board. It is a brown large capacitor right behind the "B" plug on the ecu.

This cap is the main power supply for the ecu and they go bad A LOT! The symptoms you are explaining is exactly what would happen if this were to go bad.

If you don't take care of it quick enough you could end up with an unrepairable ecu as if it goes for too long it can take out a lot of the surrounding ecu traces.

its the ecu had the problem last summer... took the car for a drive and it shut off at a light had to get it towed home... my pumps ran on a relay and switch and was runing fine.. 2 weeks down time an it was the ecu all along ... ecu burnt out used another ecu everything worked fine had all the components swap to new ecu
the entire other side of ecu board was burnt no smell noting...
