Default ECU conversion

So if I wanna convert my P06 ECU to run a z6 (P28 ECU), can I open the P28 basemap, burn it on a chip, and run that? So practically, my ECU would be a P28. Does this sound right?

Thanks everyone!

No that would not work properly. Try visiting http://forum.pgmfi.org/ for some help. I doubt you will get the answers to your questions here on Honda-Tech

you need to convert your non vtec ecu to vtec, so will work properly. Check out that link you have to solder a few things in.
