i am not the best at search but i did search and i only found ecu codes but none of them had the code that dont flash. well everytime it turns on the car fights for idle but dies right a way and the engine light comes on. i try to check the code but the code doesnt even blink so what does it mean. i am hoping it is some type of intake manifold sensor but it could be the just the ecu. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Sounds to me like a map sensor problem......... but thats not really even any way to start guessing.

Find out the code beofore you start troubleshooting.

Pep boys runs them for free usually, and there is a progam for 0Bd-2 cars called Auto Tap~$75 if you cant get the car ever to move

i dont know i have a 3 bar map sensor and it always been ideling kind of low on me but just recently it dies on me. but no body knows the code where the light doesnt flash at all?
