Default eBay rods

Obviously you guys are rolling your eyes just from the title. But I found these rods from a seller name milesaway. Hoping to get opinions on them.

$360 shipped for rods
$80 for bolts
$40-80 for machine shop to fit bolts

Not a good deal at all.

obviously its more expensive to buy 4 singles vs a set of 4.

if you're planning to spend 360$ on these rods... why not buy a set of eagles for $320 shipped with arp rod bolts....?

Probably because these are custom length rods that will bump his compression with those vitara pistons. I think with standard eagle rods and vitara pistons his compression would be around 7.5-1 but don't quote me on that.

I apologize for my ignorance in advance. This Ebay seller does offer a few different prices on the same rods. These are 138.6 as oppose to the standard 137mm. So CR would be roughly 8.5:1. I was hoping somebody actually new more about them than me. I do appreciate the responses though. He did say no machining is necessary they are ready for ARP bolts and Vitaras.

The rods must be machined with bolts torqued to spec.

OP, this is absolutely correct. I would not buy rods from someone saying otherwise.

Look up rc autoworks. They got longer rods for vitara pistons. Skunk2 even makes some.
