Well what material is it made of, and are the ends bead rolled. If its just piping and you are going to make your own kit go ahead, make sure its aluminized steal atleast

I just bought piping from Jcwhitney, It was only like 80 bucks and I had some left over. Its even cheaper if you have an Integra with a CAI, you can just use that as part of it.

That's all you get with the ebay $100 kit, I bought one, except that the ebay kit pipes have been chop sawed and the ends need a lot of cleanup and the pipes are full of abrasive dust from the chop saw. I bought some mild steel exhaust J-bends from Jegs and a $2 cutting wheel for my angle grinder for my next set of custom IC piping. I don't have a bead roller, so I scored the ends of the pipes with a Dremel and double clamped the couplers (cut them myself from 3-foot lengths of reinforced silicone hose bought off of ebay for $25) with $1 stainless hose clamps from Lowes. that worked well for 23 PSI of boost in my daily driver/weekend track car. I painted them with a can of black thermal barrier header paint from the local auto parts store and they were great.

Heres the deal.. Cleaning up the ends on ebay piping isnt going to be bad.. The main question here is how does it fit the car and how does it fit your setup..

I am using jcwhitney piping that I did myself and even with that the ends need to be cleaned up and its not bead rolled.. If you get silicone connectors and tbolt clamps and use some hair spary I doubt that you would ever blow a charge pipe off of it.. If the alumnium piping is polished then I would scratch it up a little bit just to make the silicone adhere a little better but that about it..

If I had to do it again I would probably look into the ebay piping as long as it fits well.. I dont think you can go wrong with either option..

the thing i've found with the eBay kit's is that the material isn't the strongest....i use t-clamps and i over tighten them just a little and i find that the t clamps leave a small dent in the pipe....just a heads up ....and i also have some JCW pipe....and that pipe is super strong.....

Ahh.. So they do use thinner piping then.. That sucks..
