Default Piece piping and cooler setup or buy kit?

I was looking throughout the net trying to piece together a charge pipe kit for my civic coupe...between the piping, t bolts, and cuplers it is getting on the expensive side. Has anyone used a kit off ebay (im sure someone has) but what i am wondering is how is the quality and performance? I know a lot of ebay stuff in complete junk but i am wondering about the intercooler kits....let me know

Not everything on ebay is junk, but always research the item you buying off there 1st. As far as intercooler and piping concerned, most of the stuff on ebay is up to the task.

I found a kit that would work perfectly for $290.00....so i went and looked in to silicone fittings and t clamps and what not....and that 290 turning in to like 600...So that was a definite NO on that idea lol

http://www.verociousmotorsports.com

50.00 for 5 couplers and clamps(not t bolt but i think an upgrade is avail)

4 90* bends and a 45* bend 118.00

(thats for my setup and it is 2 pieces, tb to fenderwell, fenderwell to intercooler, backdoor on the other side)
ball parking for you, maybe 250 with couplers and t bolts.

you may need a friend to weld it, but it can be done.

i would have a shop make custom piping so its almsot one peice. i used ebay piping first and its not just ebay its the same with all kits that have alot of peices. i had nothing but problems with my charge piping coming apart

I got mine from Treadstone. Seemed reasonable as it included everything needed. I haven't gotten around to the install yet but the quality seemed great.
