Default earl laskey/benson built block owners..chime in!

im currently looking for a bare block to start building up and am really looking forward to having earl laskey assemble it and mr. benson himself sleeve it. ive done my research and i have no doubt in my mind of having them do my work.

i would just like to see what current users of their blocks are running, as far as internals, boost, main use out of the car, etc. and how long have you been running the engine?

my stock gsr block seems to be doing very well courtesy of jeff evans and neptune, but id like to get something going now for the future.

*if you do not have any useful information to post, please do not reply. im sick of all these "who's block is the best" and "i dont know what happened, but something that XXXX did when building my block messed it up". im looking for information as previously stated above*

TIA

I highly recommend them. Earl built my B18C6 84mm Benson sleeved block. Customer service is second to none Whole build went smoothly and the car is running like a champ for the past few thousand miles, road and race driven.

Back when I was getting my block built I think Earl preferred waiting till he got your block then building it up. But Laskey racing helped me out a lot by offering my an 83mm GSR block that a buyer had backed out on. So he built that block up to my specs and sent it out to me once it was done.

Earl, Mike, Benson and everybody at Laskey Racing get two big  from me.

Earl gets two thumbs up, he has the best customer service, always answers my questions, answers back emails inmediately. And the product is really good, Benson does great work, Earl assembled my B16 block 84 mm bore , cp pistons, manley rods.

i hope some more honda tech vendors learn from people like him, no matter he is top notch on the product, he also take care of his customers.

customer service
Honesty
Don't bargain with them cause they're here to stay in business and they're pricing is competitive.
Actually Mike will give out free lap dance.
