why would you need more then 600 hp at the crank besides on a track only race car? If you are building a race car , why would you need to ask this question to begin with?(Seems to me it should already be a known if you build race engines)

The reason i ask is because i've been using the same crower rods for the past 5 years now and the last 2 years i've been makin 500+ to the wheels....im replacing the rods and turning up the boost and i just wanna know what would be the best rods to buy........and it is a full street car that sees the track once or twice a month.....

you sound like u going to be pushing a hell lot more than that!!
a buddy of mines has a 94 CX HB with a 433 whp GSR motor and its sometimes not too driveable on the streets... and u complain about 600 not being enough??
i can tell u have no clue how much that is on a Honda motor and how powerfull it turns out...
show me a dyno sheet once u done...

For the last 2 years i've been driving with 450+whp and a 50 shot @16psi(pump gas)...and its alot of power and very streetable if u know how to drive.........this year i plan on turnin the boost up to about 25-30psi (when i hit the track on c-16)........i wanna make roughly 650whp without the nitrous.......
