Eagle Rods?
what do you guys think of eagle rods. I have a gsr powered civic with a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo. I want to boost about 6 or 7 pounds daily and boost about 12 to 14 pounds when needed. What do you guys think?
Also what pistons do all of you prefer and what compression? Thanks.

Re: Eagle Rods? (dustin)
I think if you're not going to be sleeving a block, eagle rods are the way to go. People seem to like using them with the Endyn/Wiseco pistons.

TurboInteg95 - If you're not sleeving they're the way to go?
I'm having Golden Eagle sleeve my block. Why not use the Eagle/RW combo w/ a sleeved block?

Re: Eagle Rods? (954DR)
well so far I havent seen any proof that the eagle rods are as strong as Crowers. It just seeems like a good idea that if you're investing that much money to have your block sleeved, you might as well go with the Crower rods that are proven to over 600hp.

Re: Eagle Rods? (speedworks)
I have them, I read H beams are one of the strongest made rods. Sport Compact car and several dealers quoted this. I am using them with a block guard and JE pistons. THey are great. Good for the money and seems to be great for the strength.
LOL peace out

JG made a 769 HP at the flywheel motor with straight out of the box eagle rods... They help up without issues.
JG prefers Eagle rods for their motors.

Re: Eagle Rods? (jamal-188)
Where's a good place to get them? What pistons would you guys recommend to lower compression and go w/ these rods?
Log type Stainless Steel Manifold
T3/T04E (.63 housing Stage III Turbine & 57 trim .60 A/R Compressor)
RC Engineering 310cc Injectors
Vortech FMU (8:1 Disc)
2.5" - 3.0" Downpipe
XS Engineering Silvia Core (20 x 10.94 x 3)
JE 81.5mm 9.0:1 CR Pistons
HPC Coatings (Pistons, Manifold, Downpipe, Exhaust Housing)
Eagle Rods
Cometic .030" Headgasket
Nuformz Block Guard (Not Welded)
The car hauls *** at only 1 bar! We are going to dyno it next week to see what kind of power it is making!
