E-manage not running right

E-manage not running right
i got the support tool to work, but the car is running pretty rough now. i think it is not getting a MAP signal back from the e-manage since that wire was cut and one sent to the e-manage and one from the e-manage to the ECU. i double checked all ym wiring and it is correct. my rotary settings are at 4-8-c. the problem i am running into is the car is going into a somewhat "limp mode" and it wont rev past 3500ish and is stalling out. what do i ahve to do so the e-manage sends a map signal back to the ecu?

and i know for a fact that it is the MAP signal because i tapped the map signal wires back together and it runs fine, and when i take it off the car goes into limp mode

you have to enable what features you are going to use, ig timing, fuel control, vtec, ect. ect. ect.. Then you can bring up the map and turn the trace on with the box in the upper right half of the screen.

your settings are screwed up first. unless your running coil packs on your car. the number one setting should be 2 for a 4-cyl car with one ign. signal. the 4 setting is for a 4-cyl car with individual coil packs. and the third setting of c is for an s2000. a is for vtec and b is for non-vtec. so your settings should be: 2-8-a for vtec and 2-8-b for non-vtec.
and what code is your car throwing? if that doesn't fix the problem.

the 7thgen has direct coil ignition and those settings ahve been proven to work on my car. as far as what settings i need to set, which ones do i select if i do not have vtec and just have the main harness and ignition harness?

what are your jumpers set at? that could also be the problem. if you have 4 ignition signals, then 4 would be the correct setting for the first ****. 8 means the car uses map as load. and the third is the type of map or maf sensor.
