Dynojet datafile conversion.....
A little OT, but since most dyno users seem to post here......
I have three dynojet files that I want to export to ASCII or similar. I didn't get a chance to do it at the shop, and that is 100 miles away. I downloaded the dynojet RunViewer, but there's no capability to copy/paste or export the rpm, hp, tq and a/f. Can someone here with access to the full dynojet software please tell me if it is possible to export to a text or other readable (Excel, whatever) file, and if so I'd really appreciate the data via e-mail (stevecockrill@hotmail.com). Alternatively, is there some other software that can read and convert the data?
The dyno plots are posted here.....

Thanks!

Yes, you can print. I'd scan the image, but I don't have a scanner, and I also wanted to do some integration and calculations based on the raw data......

I can print them out and scan them for you... I just got my dyno runs from the shop. I see what you mean though, you can't get just the numbers. The only way I can see of doing it is if you click on each point and get the numbers from the run.
Let me know if you want me to scan your runs.

I had to export the numbers using their program.
Its under print, export, etc. Just export every hundred rpms or else the files are huge.
They should have them saved and it doesnt take but a minute to save them to a floppy.
For some reason the dyno here could only export two "Y" variables at a time (i.e. hp & torque, hp and a/f). No biggie just exported twice.

What I ended up doing is manually transfering the x-y data (RPM vs HP, TQ and A/F) every 100 rpms, using the smooth=1 data. It works ok, but its a tad inconvenient. What I need is to do what niedejb did, and use the original dynojet master software to export the files, but then again, if the files are huge and you end up only exporting every 100 rpm, that's not any different.
Anyway, thanks for the responses. The other issue I have is that the DynoJet RunViewer software only shows one variable at a time (yes?), and I want to see all three. That's the reason for the export......

You can do both on both left and right side of the program where it says "none" you can pick different things.
