Default Dynoed the old mans car

it was getting MAD wheelspin on the dyno, thats why it looks like it levels out and then spikes. I did not want to do 4th gear pulls. Car was fully tuned already and I saw no reason for loading it down just to get a cleaner dyno sheet.

17PSI

The RPM pickup was off on the dyno.. i don't know why but it was being reved out to 9500~

Where it says 8500 = 9500 the squiglly line at the end is from bouncing off the rev limiter.

it gets 12 psi @ 5500 and then just slowly creeps to 17.. I need to relocate the wastegate.

BTW this was made THROUGH 3 inch CRUSH bent exhaust WITH A CAT

Here is the setup or pretty much the setup

6th month old pump gas (92 octane, car sat for 6 months with no motor and this gas in it)

465 hp 279 torq

DynoJet

17psi with 9-10 degrees of timing.

and it had 12 psi @5500 ish and then just slowly krept to 17psi @9500rpms

I need to move the wastegate so it wont creep

Were you worried about the additional load in 4th causing damage? The curve would look alot different in 4th because the turbo would spool alot better.

If the tach pickup was off, wont your numbers be reading quite off as well?

HP = TQ x RPM / 5252

I believe dynojets measure HP via measuring acceleration of the drums. Then with the HP value and the rpm value given they plug into the HP=tq x RPM / 5252 equation. So if RPM is off, torque will be off, but not HP.

The force acting on the drums is torque. HP is then calculated

i think

hmm thats interesting curve you got there...

cant quite figure out whats going on.

but usually, when the car breaks loose on the dyno... RPMS go up but since the rollers arent accelerating faster, the WHP does not go up.

Nice Josh!!

When we tuned my bitch at intec... we had some weird issue with the rpms in crome not matching those on the dyno, so we had to fatten it up hella in 1 narrow spot to figure out the differentiation between the two so we knew where it really was going lean...

Cant wait for this weekend, you gonna roll the oldmans whip???

BTW, what were AFs????

where the torq flattens out and kind of goes down, thats where the tires where spinning. It gets traction and starts to go back up. I hope to have the video up later today/tomorrow. I'll also post the .bin file for the motorolla 2.5 bar.

That is right, the tq is off not the hp.
