Default dyno results on my new to me 30r setup

got my car running the other day and Morgan had a chance to throw a sweet tune on it after work tonight. 575whp at 24psi(hitting 27psi on the midrange because were on a 13psi spring and a manual controller still), and 420ft lbs. im running the used kit from my friends front mount turbo hatch. it actually made more ft lbs than my 35r but as expected the top end died out a bit. in the spring im gonna push 28+psi and hopefully hit the 600whp number again. i myself couldn't believe how much power the 30r made. i didn't think it was gonna make 550. let alone 575

this second graph is on the WG spring, if you look at the graph below it shows the WG holding 16.5 or so psi. slightly disappointing as the new setup doesnt want to make any less power than this. this is my 3rd manifold and all have resulted in the same. i think its time to do a dual wastegate which many told me i didnt need originally. the same setup held 9psi fine on erics motor.

35r vs 30r same motor both .82 a/r

looks like its gonna rain this weekend, but im gonna try to hit the track as i know this is lvd last weekend. if not i might take a trip to etown.

im back to the oem ignition system. stock dizzy and wires.
competition stage 5 sprung standard pressure plate(anxious to see how it holds at the track)
Stock LS tranny
Hondata S300 EMS
ITR cams like runnerdown said
much needed newer LMA's

I can't tell you how much joy this brings me. I've been in countless threads defending the 30R. I can't even recall how many people spouted non stop about how no 30R could even make 500whp. The 3071 on my DelSol came off of a car making 579whp on an 84mm GSR and everyone called me a liar.

This turbo is so underrated and overlooked anymore, and I just can never understand why. It's not laggy at all and can still make big power...especially for the street.

Good job man...thought I'd be posting my own graphs here on my 30R setup sporting my own headwork in an LS/vtec....but no money for dyno time so that idea is shot for the year.

Do you have a log of the afr you could possibly post? I've just been reading into tuning pretty heavily lately and I've been trying to see some real world examples of high-power boosted applications.(I consider 550whp high at least when it comes to 4-bangers)

When or if i ever swap to a different turbo, it will be this one........

Just looks like a good mix for a street car.
