Oh, and by the way, the difference between the runs was the tuning of the fuel on the VAFC. That was it. Only took 9 pulls to tune it.

30hp from tuning with a vafc

I didn't think that you needed a fmu when you have a vafc??

Man, i'm no expert, but do you really need an intank pump and an inline pump?

I think you should've left the timing stock..it would've leaned you out a little more w/o the use of the vafc..I guess you could do it either way, but I think the car will be a bit more responsive w/ timing closer to stock.

I made 232 on 8psi w/o the vafc...I just used the kit as it comes...however w/ the btm on 1 deg/lb of boost the car only made 177..so it's a huge difference when you play w/ the timing.

IMO he should get rid of the intank. The inline is necessary w/ the fmu and the vafc is good for leaning out the fuel. The intank is overkill. But hes alredy tuned and happy. So theres really no harm in keeping it.

Those are some pretty good numbers but you should put ur timing back to stock and maybe lean out the top end a little more and get a consistant 12:1...It will drive sooo much better and u will make some better HP too..Dont worry ur motor should be fine...

I had just the intank and it sucked. I could tell it made no difference. Idel was rough too. After talking to Tony at Jotech he suggested the in-line. Man what a difference. I could have left the stock injectors in and been fine but I was afraid of pushing them to hard.

Just put the Tial BOV on. Wow. Makes the greddy seem like a piece of crap.

Any thoughts of turning the boost up to 9psi? Or should I leave it alone?

Ahh, getting greedy already eh?

I rode in Dan's hatch the other night and my car hasn't felt the same since. 9 psi here I come... Good to see ya around here Eric!

Hey are you still running the blue box? (or were you ever...)

nice #'s, but IMO you should maybe advance the timing like two degrees and you would get a little more torque. Don't need the FMU if you have the VAFC, can just do the hack by liam821, run 440cc injectors and set AFC to -40% on the fuel curves, no missing links. it gives you better drivability. just my two cents. Nice car and #'s.
