Dyno results...again (vtc tuned)
Well me and Dave (vtc_civic) hit the dyno up this morning at twilight down in Miami(great guys, had a blast joking around with them. they run a great shop, check it out). After me having major exhaust leaks and only making 233whp on 14psi with a t3/t04e turbo i had better luck today. First pull got us 230whp on 9 psi. i was unhappy and said "oh well guess its what im stuck out" then i upped the boost to 10.5 psi and Dave played with my map. then i jumped to 260whp!. By the 4th pull i was making 265whp on 10.5 psi. i also made 237wtq. The car isn't finished with the tune so we have more work to do. BTW this is a stock LS. i will get a 3 bar and run 14psi (Again) and pray for 315whp. Also, this was done from a 4th gear pull cause i have no 3rd gear. The people at twilight said i would make more from a 3rd gear pull. Dyno results will be up l8er tonight. TY DAVE!!!!!!

Whats up trent....Glad to see your cars comming along..... Its better to dyno in 4th gear ,i dont know why they told you 3rd would make more power....
when i was making only 308 i would spin on the dyno in 3rd but i guess your tranny has longer gears so it might not be a problem...when i made 400 (after mase tuned it) the car started to eat up the tires in 4th also...
Nice numbers tho ..I told you twiilight was alot better than the other places...-Danny

Yes this was done on uberdata. My old map got erased so dave mad one from scratch and had the a/f looking pretty good after 1 run! hes getting quick at this crap. (looks confusing as hell to me so i just sit there and shake my head like i know what hes doing)

The guys at twilight said they always see 4th put down more torque and 3rd put down more power.

Mased showed me how it kind of evens out the TRQ and HP readings when done in 4th...its not a huge difference but I would dyno in 4th, it puts more load on the motor ....its a little more dangerous if you not built yet tho man...MY car should be making 500 next month after I sell my bulldog puppys..ill let you know when we go to the dyno...
You guys wanna go to the track??Me raymond and yuyu are down to go also....

BS?? i made similar tq with less boost on a stock LS. good numbers .. shouldn't take 14psi to make 315hp tho.

i just looked at one of the dyno sheets and it was actually 236.8. im gonna take a pic of the dyno sheet in a sec. i wana get it back on the dyno and tune some more. 300+whp for a stock motor would be plain sexy. B18bEK what size turbo were u running?

Re: Dyno results...again (civicflnum1)
so your running 14 psi on a stock ls block??
if i am right, post it up when your engine blows. (not trying to be a smart *** but it would be interesting to know how long that motor can handle that much psi.

well ive ran 13 psi for awhile and there was a time where i was running 11-12 psi daily. a/f is perfect and timing is conservative so why would it blow? theres people on here running 15psi on a stock ls block with hondata.

Re: Dyno results...again (civicflnum1)
wow, i had no clue. How long would it hold about 14 psi for??? What about 10?
I am turboing soon and wanted to get the highest psi i could for daily driving (obviously) what would you guys recommend. This is with good tuning with hondata from a hondata dealer.
