Default dyno results!

Got tuned friday at evan's here's the result.

z6 on an 18G @ 18psi. HP was consistent with each pull, I believe the highest we saw was 337/270lb before things warmed up.

I've been dealing with coolant lines failing around the thermostat/intake manifold area, but overall everything is great. Haven't seen anything abnormal going on with the coolant overflow tank, maybe slightly more fill than a stock car would produce.

Car runs really smooth, and the powerband is good and linear. Wheelspin is under control quite well through 1st and 2nd on my proxes 4's. wastegate pressure in 1st @11psi and 2nd sees around 13-15.

Thanx man! You know, I was just looking at some of the graphs for other D's he's tuned with larger turbos and better manifolds, and a tad more power..and I was thinking the same damn thing as you..unless i'm being trolled lol, it would seem this turbo outperforms the other setups in terms of full spool/rpm and holding tq to redline. Bear in mind this is on a internal wastegate and edelbrock cast mani.

I'm not really sure where to even look in my maps to answer that question.

Not to mention looking up table timing values aren't the same as total timing. Thats a loaded question.

Can I get some opinions on retarding ign timing per psi in a boost table? I've emailed jeff and waiting for a reply. Just thought I'd get a general idea on this, the coolant pressures are leaving me concerned.

i fell victim to a hood latch issue about 2yrs ago, hence the black hood as well. getting all these things touched up before the season really kicks off along with a new set of wheels/tires.

currently on these things:

looking to do a set of 6UL's with 225/45 R888's or RA1's.

Thanx for the headsup brotha, I have a tire wholesaler I deal with getting me the toyo's for about $125 a piece. I'm more partial to the toyo brand, that's all I've ever run.

oh no.. those D-series can't do even 220whp stock without a rod snapping. So he put in some work on internals for that 18G for that boost pressure level.

I love the turbosmart Internal Gates. I use those as upgrades now for the GT2860RS, GT2871R, and GT30R upgrades

definitely a nice graph. flat tq too. how is it with that gearing upon upshift? fall out of boost at all? im sure you can pull at least a few hundred more rpm out of it if needed. curious to know timing values myself..

Nah, his rpms seem fine. It wouldn't yield anymore power from that turbo, I can see from his graph and that setup. Steady increase, no drop off. Not bad for 41lbs/min.

my redline is set to 7,800..7,400 is where he has the shift light coming on in my cluster via s300. In between shifts I'm right where the meat and potato's live, the car literally just keeps pulling and pulling. I can honestly "feel" this graph as I'm driving.

after doing a bunch of homework I can begin to see why anything beyond a t3/t4 is too much turbo for this motor, in the street anyway. this 30r graph makes me cringe for example:

I'm currently working on something for the 41lbs/min club outside of the usual T3/T04E realm. stay tuned.
