Default Dyno question

Say I have a Hondata. What are they adjusting when you take your car to a dyno and have it tuned for max HP? Is it only the A/F ratio and maybe the vtec point? What else are they looking for to tune? Thanks for any input.

Fuel and ignition timing. They watch the air/fuel to determine how much fuel is needed. I am sure there is more to it that I don't know about.....I don't have my hondata installed yet. I can't wait to see it all work!

Is there anything else they adjust? Can I accuratley adjust fuel and ignition timing on my own? I figure I can do the air/fuel if I get a wide band.

I'm actually thinking of getting the wide band for my self, so I don't have to have them do it. I figure this way I can also tune it any time I think it's needed. May be a bit overkill, but hell man, good A/F is key!!!

There has to be someone that knows everything about tuning a Hondata on the dyno.
