Dyno Day Results! 500whp!
I tuned 3 turbo cars at Trackmasters in Huntsville, Al this past weekend. Thanks to Arthur at trackmasters for help and the use of the dyno. Rocket at Rocket motorsports for alot of the parts(as you can see), advice, and help. Kteller for piping and misc parts. Stan and Arturbo for the fast parts and delivery, earl for the custom intercooler and crank work, and anyone else I left out. Here were the results and setups.
LS block:
9:1 CP pistons
Rocket motorsports Rods
Acl bearings, blockguard
LS head:
Rocket motorsports valvesprings and retainers
Rocket motorsports L21 regrind cams
Turbo setup:
Inline pro manifold
precision sc44 turbo
550 rc injectors
Results: 14psi
308whp, 252tq
Gsr Block:
9:1 Cp pistons
Rocket motorsport rods
Acl bearings
Gsr Head:
Rocket motorsport valves, valvesprings, retainers
Stock gsr cams
Turbo setup:
Inline pro manifold
Precision gt35e turbo

We were having some boost controlling problems and bov leaking problems, so expect better #'s when the problems are resolved.

What kind of fuel were you using? That seems like a lot of boost with a lot of compression.

Re: Dyno Day Results! 500whp! (blackmagicCRX)
I was using sunoco 115octane
Injectors in my car was 880cc, running around 93% duty cycle with fuel pressure at 55psi
Ls motor injector duty cycle was 82%. We maxed out some 440cc a few months ago at 96% duty cycle at 320whp. so that kinda give u an ideal. Pics of the cars will be coming soon.

DAMN ....that's some bad-*** numbers. I need some 550cc-plus injectors for my hatch!!! Them 450cc's I have aren't cutting it.
