Dsm td04h
So I just picked up a td04h from my friend it came off his Gsr setup. I'll have pics up soon but basically my plans are, cast iron mani weld internal wastegate flapper shut and get a manual bc set to 5 pounds. put it on my d15b2 block with a6 head block has over 300k on it and burns oil after 3500rpms lol this is just gonna be for fun. while I'm building my other motor so don't say oh your wasting your time it's gonna blow, I already know that's why I said it's just for fun, but anyways I'm probably gonna just get a nice a6 or z6 block arp rod bolts and head studs acl bearings and some moderate low compression pistons with either a b7 or a6 head stock, now the turbo I bought is in great shape almost no shaft play at all It probably moves less then a milimiter in any direction, anyways let me know what youguys think about that turbo with the build I'm doing I'm not looking for anything really over 250 just a daily that will beat all my friends stock b series lol and stock single turbos and what not thanks

Re: Dsm td04h
The Greddy Kit uses a 15G in a TD04 housing. the DSM Td04h is generally a 14b, significantly smaller. Similar to "T3/T4", TD04H refers simply to the compressor housing in which a specific set of wheels are used only. Even the turbine wheels and shafts are designated TD04 or TD05.
Either way, like the OP predicted, it will be a waste of time to do this, even for "fun", But, to each his own. that's why setups are different.
