You need to bore out the stock seals...or order bigger ones from http://www.allorings.com

Re: DSM injector install HELP?? (tonydatyga)
Mine were a tight squeeze also. I got some injector o-rings from Napa. They are about twice as thick as the stockers, and are made of a better material.
What I did: I bored out the o-rings slightly, removing the inner lip. Put a dab of oil on the top of the injectors. Popped them into the fuel rail. Put the o-rings in the manifold. Alligned and seated the fuel rail with the injectors sitting in the o-rings. I then proceeded to install the three 6mm bolts on the rail and tighten each one, slightly, and moving from one nut to another. The injectors seated nicely and are not leaking

I've bored out a ton of stock grommets with a rotary rasp.
Just FYI, -ALL- honda injector grommets are the same. D16, B16, etc. All the same.
If you are gonna try forcing them in, you might want to try popping them in the microwave for a bit to soften them up (dont try this with females living in the house. They dont seem to like the idea of car parts in the microwave).
Its really not that hard to bore them out, if you have the right tool that is.

Re: DSM injector install HELP?? (RioNinja)
yeah, I totally had to bore mine out...I don't think there's anyway it would've fit without risking tearing the ring...I'm still running the 450's with no management and their fine, just a hair rich, according to my voltage meter on the o2 sensor.

Re: DSM injector install HELP?? (ion_four)
I just put the injectors into my rail, and then lined up the bottoms with the manifold and bolted the rail down. It was a tight squeeze, but they went in without any boring of the seals.

you can ditch the check valves, FMU, and inline. You can get an intank down the line, but a lot of people are running on their stock pumps without any problems.

Re: DSM injector install HELP?? (boostinb18)
One thing noone has said, but is very important, is that you should oil the hell out of the seals. A good coating of 10W30 will make them slip right in. I did dremel out my seals to amke it easier, but the oil helped immensely.
I put all the seals in the manifold first, then pushed each injector down over each one. Then bolted on the rail, no problems.

Re: DSM injector install HELP?? (DSF)
Not to create an argument, but that isn't entirely true. I have at least 3 different sizes at home. Some thinner (top-bottom) than others and some with larger bores. I've been through so many engines (not just mine), I forget what they came off of. I must have about 30 sets of injectors in my basement
to rephrase that, all the injector grommets I'VE ever seen have been the same. I've dealt mostly with JDM B16s and older d-series.
