Default DSM crushed BOV?

I've always wondered what that meant. anybody? what does it mean when it's crushed??

Basically what you do is, smash the top of the bov down a little bit to give the bov more spring tension to be able to resist popping off prematurely under higher boost levels.

I crushed mine today
I put a penny centered to the top of it, I put it under the press till I was satisfied, I'll say about 4mm

you probably dont need to crush it, it tends to leak around 17psi, thats kinda inaccurate though, it really depends on what turbo your have. crushing will make it hold about 23-24psi. you prolly dont boost that much, best advice I can give here it make an intake leak tester and check if it leaks or not
