It will be a *little* louder than a stock DSM.

I've ridden in a CRX, ZC, T25, DSM blow-off and it wasn't very loud at all.

The best way I can describe it is that it sounds like dumping a bucket of water onto concrete.

Mine sounded great. I've never really heard one on a DSM but it was pretty damn loud. Ripped up the styrafoam on the underside of my hood

Actually, I had 2 dsm bovs on my car. The first one sounded like a whoooosh, but the one I am currently using sounds similiar to a type s, but jus not as high pitched

I heard mine for the 1st time yesterday...nice and crisp high pitched. I dont even have mine on the upper charge pipe, its down where the old intake resonator used to be and it was clear. i think i need to shorten the vacuum line to it though!

Good buy for $60 including the flange that I JB welded on my aluminum piping
