DSM 450's?

DSM 450's?
I know DSM 450's are injectors from an eclipse but what kind? GSX, GST, what? are they even from a stock eclipse? and why are they sought after so much? I'm just curious because every one makes such abig deal about them thats all....

They're on any Turbo DSM that's got a manual transmission. The Autos have 390s, for some reason. They're really just sought after because they're cheap; they're cheap because the DSM guys upgrade them. I just bought four low-mileage 450cc injectors for $45 shipped...alot better than ~$400 for new RC's...

holy crap didn't know that, are there any side effect/things to be careful of? and any thing else I need to run them? well thanks for the info

They act very similar to RC 550's at low duty (idle and low load) when tuning, but will not provide as much top end flow. If you plan to use them with a Honda ECU, you will need a resistor pack and possibly different injector seals/spacers. That's about it.

B16 O-rings should perectly fit right in, I don't think there are a lot of significance difference on the first and second gen DSM's...
