Default DSM resistor question

So I read from a few right ups here that the resistors i need are 10 watt 10 ohm and can be bought at radioshack

My question is that i went to radioshack and...

1. they said they dont carry those restistors
2. He said if they did, they would be huge.

Am i missing something? or did this guy have no idea what hes talkign about

Also, i searched on the radioshack website and it seemed they only had 1/4 watt and 1/2 watt resistors

Somebody help me clarify what i need please

Thanks

bleh, ive never been a big fan of using the inline resistors. I never really saw the point. You can wire up a resistor box and not cut ANY of your stock wiring.
I did a writeup on it here:

Let me know if you need more help.

Shameless plug: I sell resistor boxes in my sig if you need one. lol

They should be little white bricks with silver wire comming out each end. about 3in long. I have seen them at most every local ratshack i have been too.

The guy must have not wanted to help you. Cuz even if they didn't have them, he should have at least known what they are.
