Are DSM 440's overkill for 7lbs boost?
an SMC or Vafc, are 440's overkill for a 7lb turbo setup on a stock gsr motor? thats what i've been planning, & a well respected turbo guy said that he's tried to tune the same setup & was running waay too rich.
he suggested getting some dsm 390's or smaller with a vafc.
any suggestions, comments???

they should be fine just tune it out and you should be okay give you some room to improve as well. much better than fmu setup with stokc injectors
it should work fine zip is comin out with the smc+ that will let you lean or richen every 1k rpms. for the price compared to a vafc you cant beat it. and dsm's are 450's you need to run them with a resistor box or in line resistors.

well my 190cc runs rich at 9 psi, and could do more on my car, some VW's run fine at 15-17 psi on stocks all day with FMU only!!! or stand alone
VW 1.8T's use 240's and run 18 psi all day long
i'm just using these examples as comparisons of boost to injector size kind of ratio
its probably how you tune it
