I agree...Johns welds look VERY good in those pics.
But ya, I dont think my welds look good compared to others. They are "OK", and strong, but not as pretty as Id like. Hey, its only been a touch over 3 months since I started TIGging

Tink---No man I am not taking anything away from you.. I would have mentioned someone elses name but he should be kept out of it. The point I was trying to make is that since John had some problems now everyone is bashing him all the time. No matter how hard he tries.. He stepped up with the uberchips to try and help guys out and now everyone is jumping on his back because its taking too long. he is doing it for free to try and help guys. Btw I like that new manifold.

Hey Jon, we should get together sometime and talk about the engine build/etc. Of course I am moving out to PA tomorrow afternoon! Maybe I will come by tomorrow (can you say Momo?).

A lot of guys are saying crap about Jon's Customer service, but he has been unbelievable to me, even when he is super busy. I think now that the move is done/etc people will get even better service. Of course there are a couple of people who will forever jump on Jon's back about it.

The aluminum weld looks fine. The stainless welds are not good.

I'm just curious, but what can you do thats any better than that? personally, I think that intercooler looks great. I didnt even make the thing, but I agree.. there is always a good damn critic on this board.
