i was on my way to lansing from detroit all of a sudden we heard a big thug-chunka-lunk under the car... at first i thought it was a rock but i didn't feel the tires run over the rock nor did the car feel different after the incident... about 20 miles down the road we stopped at a rest area and i went to check under the hood to look for any obvious clues..

well turns out, my catch can cap blew off and is now on the hwy somewhere.. i suspected that was the culpret since when i was idling at the rest area, the idle was a bit high and fluctuating... guess i'll just have to end up making another cap for that darn catch can ...

just thought i'd share this dope story.. hehe..

 

sucks man, I just lost a corner light on the hightway.

 

i feel you too. 1 week after i got my full bodykit and a full paintjob, i ran over a big @ss metal box of some kind and completely riped everything under my car from bumper to bumper. Almost broke down and cried.

 

In my old Civic I hopped a curb (on purpose) but, it was apparently a bit too high...the next day I was driving on the freeway and my whole undertray for the enginebay flew off, haha...I had to REALLY be somewhere, so I couldn't go back and look for a couple hours and it was no where to be found, haha

 

no offence but you guys need to buy some loctite
