DRAG manifold questions
Some simple questions here. Was going to upgrade my manifold this year, but i think im just gonna stick to the DRAG mani.
Its pretty hideious to look at right now. its 3 years old and its rusty and ****.
Two questions:
What can i do to visually clean up the apperance of my manifold? i dont think high-temp paint would apply in this application. its cast, so i cant really sand it and polish it. any ideas?

Re: DRAG manifold questions (Mr. Vapor)
POR-20, by Restomotive Laboratories.
Get a 1/2 pint of it, $17, and a bottle of Metal-Ready.

I've had POR-20 on my brakes for more than a year. Never cracks or fades, resistant to 1400°.

Re: DRAG manifold questions (DefiantGSR)
they arent that bad
mine works just fine. they just dont work that well if your making a LOT of power.
i took mine off, took a wire wheel to it, then soaked it in oil for a while. then run parts washing fluid through the runners to clean them out. the soaking in oil leaves it with a nice black-ish color once its gets hot a few times. keeps it from rusting bad.
people have been doing this with cast iron frying pans for a LONG time.
