Drag log manifold question
I have recently got a hold of a drag cast iron log manifold and I was wondering if I could use a Garrett gt28 turbo on the manifold (disco potatoe)? It has the cut out for an external wastegate and I know the Garrett has an internal gate but thats no problem. I am trying to find a good turbo for my daily driver with is a stock b16. Also if anyone knows of any other turbos which would be good to use for every day use which will work with the manifold. I'm looking for something the spools up quick, nothing too big cause I'm looking at boosting at 7psi only. Any info would help, I'm am new to turbo setups and have learned a lot in the past month but still have a lot to learn.

Re: Drag log manifold question
Read the facts section at the top of this thread. A 50 trim turbo would also be great for that setup. Spools characteristics are great for street especially with a log manifold.

+1 on reading
when u think you have it all down, go back and read it again. with log manifolds, some have to use the 5 bolt discharge or youll have to shave your block. 50 trim is a great choice. If its a real disco potato, i think its too big for a 1.6L ( my .02)
