I know a guy locally that has a Walbro High Pressure 255lph. In-Tank fuel pump running over 300 whp. His fuel pressure reaches well over 150 psi. and he hasn't had any problems getting enough fuel to the rail. IMO I think In-Tank pumps are just as good as the In-line pumps. Also, yes the fuel pump is supose to make that kinda noise.
Have you seen the graphs for the Walbro "high pressure" pumps? If you had, you wouldn't be spreading more misinformation. The pump cannot create 150 psi, and even if it could there would be zero flow.

They would definately be zero at 150, as would every pump that I've seen a graph for. The Walbro high pressure pumps flow more than the endyne-bosch pumps up to 75-80 psi. No FMU necessary as they flow enough to support about 500hp in that range.
