Default DPI to MPFi help JRSC

So i did the DPI to MPI conversion and then converted to OBD1 and am running untuned uberdata w/ the charger.

My questions are:

The to white wired that are the same on the Distro plug, what happens when they are crossed. The reason im asking is becuase my car feels like its hitting rev and 3500-4500.I know more than likely its the crank angle sensor, so i swithed those two wires and came out with the same result.

How do u check CEL's on the conversion harness.I have the check engine wire and a PCM wire(unused) and i was wondering if u ground them together or ground the CEL wire or what
