Default dp flange question asap

aight i got a dp that has a 5 bolt flange for the turbo, now the turbo i want to get is a 4 bolt.. now the question is, could i get the 5 bolt flange unwelded and buy another 4 bolt flange and get it welded on? kinda need to know asap, oh and also, where can i get a 4 bolt flange. thanks in advance

is it expensive to unweld something and then weld almost the same thing back on

well it will have to be cut off and the new one welded on, and cost is going to vary.

the 4 bolt turbo housing will sit the turbo in a different place then the 5 bolt

the old downpipe may not fit and you may have to hack up your block to make the turbo fit

^ y would it sit the turbo diffrent? the mani holds the turbo to the block, at most the mani would have to be shortnd or lenghend with the new 4 bolt flange

what type of manifold is it? alot of people have problems using 4 bolt turbos ..youll see

my bad i didnt mean the mani would have to be shortnd/lengthnd i ment the downpipe... its a log mani
