Default Downpipe restrictions

I've tried the search already but I couldn't find the post I was looking for. Could someone please post or link me to the post that showed the horsepower restrictions for downpipes of various sizes? thanks

I'm also curious about this because Maximum Boost by Corky Bell states that the downpipe needs to be 10% bigger than the turbo outlet. So on a little T3 or something like that with a 2" outlet, you only need a 2.25" downpipe...

However I always read people saying that you need 2.5 at a minumum or 3" is better. I'm wondering if it also depends on where you want your power, midrange or topend.
