Default downpipe question.

ok well im getting my Manifold and Exhaust housing Jet-Hotted and i was wondering should i also get my DP coated as well?
I mean i dont think it will hurt me but it'll hurt the wallet another 40bucks.

would coating it help out Engine Temps?

also if i was to coat the exhaust housing of my turbo. would it decrease performance since it would be coated inside too? Jet-Hot 2000 is the one im using.

I would, it will have improve under hood cooling and it may even help to spool your turbo faster. I got my dp, mani and turbo exhaust housing all coated from http://www.hpcoatings.com

They did a great job

I did everything inside and out and my dp is a lil longer and two parts, with a rush delievery there and back, came out to be 300.00. IF you don't do RUSH delievery it will be much cheaper.

yeha its about the same price as Jet-HOT.
its going to be about 260 not shipped yet so...

i dont know i just emailed them about it to see what they are going to say.
So how do you like that coating? do you like special's from them since you got it coated?

I got a email for Jet-Hot 2weeks ago about getting old stuff RECOATED for half price. have you gotten anything like that before from HP?
