Yes....

Your interupting the flow of exhaust gases.......Im pretty sure it wont make more than 500 rpms max of a difference....what kind of damage are we looking at???

i have a t3/t4 .57,.63 and i think im getting full 8 pounds about 4800-5000rpm,thats when i can really feel it,but when i had my boost gauge i saw i was getting full at 3800rpm(could feel it then too) when the dp wasnt like that...but i dont know if it is the dp making that big of a loss or i also have a small leak somewhere.i think my dp kinks to like...1.5-2 inches

thanks alot

I third that....A dent in your downpipe will creat lag and disturb your exhaust flow. That is why they always say not to use pipes with lots of ripples/bends in them.
