Default downpipe and emissions question

downpipe connects to the cat rite?? and does FI make emissions worse??

is there any difference between hiflow cat and oem cat besides the bolting on part?? they basically do the same for emissions, rite??

Yes, the down pipe will connect to the cat. Alot of OEM down pipes have a cat integrated into it.

FI doesn't make emissions worse per say, it's more of a question of the state of tune the car is in and if it has all of it's emission reducing parts in place.

A lot of cheap high-flow cats are nothing more than a resonater and provide no benefit as far as cleaning the exhaust. I don't know about name brand units tho.

does that mean a carsound cat might not reduce emissions or least likely to reduce??

I don't know, I have no experience with Carsound. Sorry. The only people who will know are Carsound users that have had an emissions check.
