Default down pipe questions

OK I have an odb2 civic that I converted to a ODB1 ecu for uberdata. Wondering if I need to put both O2 sensors on the downpipe or just the primary. Right now I don't have the primary connect to my harness and its only throwing the primary sensor code so it makes me think that is the only one I need. Also where is a good postion to put the O2 sensor at on the downpipe?

Put o2 sensor at least 12 inches down after turbo.

You don't need the secondary o2 with OBD1
