yeahhh it could be off by a lot...nothing is there to center the head on top of the pistons, make sure it is in line for the timing belt etc. .

i have oversized head studs 1/2 and the head barely fits and there is no room 4 them i could have had it drilled out for dowels should i have or will the studs keep it straight?

Why even bother with thicker head studs if your skipping the fundamentals? To run thicker head studs you had the block drilled and retapped. So how much harder is it to have the head drilled out for larger dowels?

You don't have to do any machine work. Golden Eagle makes them they're cheap ($20) and you definitely need them.

well when it was out i forgot to have it drilled for bigger dowels cause im an idiot but now the motor is built so the block will be fixed and dowels installed once the motor is in the car

Couldn't you have a machine shop or yourself carefully drill out the golden eagle dowel pins??

its a toss up if you're NA you'll prolly be A OK for a while.. boosted high hp the head gasket tends to float around without them... you'll find out in time.
