i know this has been covered and i searched but couldnt find the answer i was looking for. On my ls/vtec the dowel pins went on the exhaust side and i had to ream the headgasket. Now.....i just did another ls/vtec for a guy and he got the LS hg and the GE dowel pins and they dropped right in and fit perfectly in the block and the head on the intake side with no modifications. Theres no gap or anything like that it just went together like it was meant to be like that. Any insight?
