I am currently having problems trying to connect my 2.5 inch test pipe in between the downpipe and the exhaust. it just doesn't line up, but i think with a donut gasket it just might. is it possible to even get a gasket there. I may just take it to a muffler shop, anyone know how much something like this would run? I've never been to a muffler/ exhaust shop.

How will the donut gasket line it up? Also, your DP would need an "outlet" coming off the end, not just a flat flange to fit the donut gasket.

You can use a 2.5" donut gasket from an S2000, but again, are you sure thats what you need?

hmm maybe it isn't what i need once i think about it. I was thinking that i could somehow have the test pipe angled a little that way, without getting an exhaust leak. but now that i think about it, it probably still won't work. a muffler shop should be able to do something, correct?

Definitely, if theyll accept the fact you have no cat and work on your car anyway. Is it too short/long, or is the flange not angled properly or what? Anyone with a sawzall and a welder can fix that!

i think if they just angle one of the flanges somehow it will fit. im going to call up some muffler shops. you think i should just tell them that this is a race only vehicle if they bitch about not having a cat?

i was having a problem mounting up my dp to my test pipe as well and the guys at the muffler shop wouldn't even touch my car. I ended up getting a flange from kteller and a 2.5" donut gasket from pep boys. Then I had one of my friends weld the flange onto the bottom of the downpipe and he made a little lip and everything for the donut gasket. Its working pretty good for me
