Default Doing an ITR turbo build in my hatch, any suggestions?

I was thinking of maybe building the block that sits in my engine bay as of now, or building an LS block and boosting that. Not sure what I should do, but if you have any ideas that can help me in my decision making, please send me a PM. Thanks.

if you are going to build an itr set up do it right first time. I've read a lot of mishaps with itr turbo set ups. You gotta spend the money first off and do it right. even then there is a chance itll blow. If you are a budget guy i think lsvtec build is a good economical set up. I've seen pretty sweet numbers on those and they could cost 1/4 less of what a itr build would and if something happened ls blocks are only 350-500 tops. just my 2 cents...

hope it helps

The stock head is all you need for 500+ horsepower, so get yourself some forged rods/pistons and you will be good to go. Forget about the LS torque, you will have plenty with the ITR block/crank setup.

I second that And don't forget to get a good tune and you'll be set.

well problem being I'd still need to have something to drive, I think I will go with the LS block because I can build it over a period of time and still drive my car, then when it's ready just throw it on and keep my ITR short block on the side incase it does blow up
