IMHO, it puts more wear on a motor than boost.

IMO it goes either way it just depends on if you abuse it or not...

if you abuse it you end up like me wiht a blown head gasket(nitrous)
but now i'm gonna go boost(in 2 weeks right before spring)

i doubt if i sprayed 120shot of NOS at every stop light and everytime i needed to get on an on ramp etc that my LS would still be alive..

Man, oh man. This is starting to become another nitrous flame.
Anyways, gotta defend my ****.

I think, if used with a progressive controller, they can both bear like-wise wear on your motor.

i doubt if i sprayed 120shot of NOS at every stop light and everytime i needed to get on an on ramp etc that my LS would still be alive..
But, you see, no one would ever waste it like that. So it will be used in moderation. Depending on the dumbass that uses it. So, using those factors, that's how I see that boost and juice are basically the same, motor wear wise. Besides, .

Hehe, had to use it sometime because it's "tizz-ite yo".

wrong, nitrous deteriorates valve seals. so nitrous does wear ur motor faster than turbo if all are equal.

if anything i would think nitrous is less wear. . . . you dont use the n20 all the time .
turbo is there all the time and boosting. therefore more wear and tear. i love both though.
i want to get turbo to go with my bottle. just to have , never know when your gonna need it .

NOS is instant and will be harmful to the engine and transmission.
but then again its not on all the time.

soo it comes down to who the driver is.

cause if your boosting every gear all day long and making topspeed runs...thats going to destroy some rings
or melt some pistons.

or if you spray excessive amounts of nos or use it at top speed it'll destroy the motor as well
