My car's in the shop right now, waiting on the cable harness for my hondata that the shop ordered almost two weeks ago. I was wondering if Hondata is just slow when it comes to shipping things out?

 

I had scheduled dyno time on a Friday and my shop had ordered the Hondata the last week. Every time we called they said they'd ship it the next day. It took around 2 weeks and 3 calls but they did get the Hondata there the day before the dyno.

 

The got my 2B here the day they said they would, which was about a week and a half from the day i ordered it.

 

Hondata has always been good about shipping their units very soon after ordering.. The one exception to this has been the adapter harnesses. They do not make them in house, and apparently their supplier is pretty slow to manufacture them.

Then what the hell could be taking them so long? I'm getting so pissed off.

 

Well, the first thing to do is ask the shop who ordered your adapter when (and who) they last contacted in Hondata about the cable.

Yes there has been a delay on the cables, but they are all in stock now.

If this is our fault, I apologise in advance.

Well, I know it was Pinyo from Garage Kwai who ordered the part for me, which was on the 15th of August. That was two weeks ago today.

 

I always have excellent service from you guys well cept that one time it got delivered to the wrong address, but it all worked out.
