does 300whp make 3rd gear spin
it can make it spin but thats shouldnt be your concern. Getting that pwr to the ground should be your concern.... more pwr to the ground = faster times.

Yeah i am running around with the jdm itr tranny, 14'' wheels with winter tires...there is just no traction at all. Even when i was n/a i would still spin into 4th slighty...basically just a chirp.
Yeah traction sucks a fat one. But when i do run slicks and i stick...look out! I have never been in a faster accelerating car. I have to stop borrowing my friends slicks...one of these days i will buy a pair.
I am not making alot of power with my B18B turbo (<200 whp) setup but one time at the track on a cold night I was spinning 3rd gear pretty hard. I was breaking loose from my hard shifting and letting the clutch fly home. My times where 14.0 @ 105 with a 2.389 60 ft.
it all matters what tranny u got and your gearing
any itr or b16 tranny is going to spin a lot more then a b18a or b18b tranny at 300hp
most itr trannys don't even get full boost in first gear the gear is crazy short in a itr and a jdm s1 tranny

250-300whp here.. w/ quaife lsd and khumo 712's and first and second spin totally with third hooking up after a nice chirp... then rocketing off into space!!

i ran between 106-109 mph when i had 196@wheels with my all motor setup. I could also spin all through 3rd and a little of 4th if I tried and a nice hard chirp into 5th. It all depends on your suspension and tires.
