Do You Regret Going Turbo?
I am asking because I am thinking of going turbo...my comp is 210/205/200/205 for my 94 GSR with 125,600 miles.
I was wondering who regrets going turbo or has taken their turbo out?
How long have you had it and what kind of mistake or problem caused this?

you may regret it if you spent lots of money only to have problem after problem with it. If you enjoy frustration and you enjoy the nice fuzzy feeling you get when you do something yourself and get it right, then you will love the turbo--if all goes well.
Plan it out thoughtfully and take the time to do it yourself. Please don't pay to have someone else do it for you. This way if something goes wrong you will know where everything is and you can fix it yourself. Its really not all that hard.
One thing you will regret, is the day you got involved with this because it will suck your bank account dry and it will only make you want more power.
I love the boost though and I will never go back to a NA car again. I see more turbos in my future.

i regret not listening to everybody and running 8 psi on a stock B18C5 and pump gas, and losing all my rings........but now JE and eagle and ARP will be helping me with some real power, i cant wait to tear it down.
i was regretting it alittle until i recently drove my friends GSR with IHE and a 55 shot. i just kept waiting for the power to come on but it never did. embrace the boost

let me warn others, when you go turbo, it WILL be a downward spiral. you will crave more power with a reliable setup. with that said, a built engine and stand alone would be in your near future if you're a power fiend like myself.

No regrets what so ever here especially on my greddy turbo. Midrange power is my preferrence as opposed to peak power but again Boost in general is the best thing that can happen to someones life!

I second that Greddy midrange power... I love my Greddy kit... There would be no way I could do my daily canyon carving *commute* with a DRAG kit on my Civic! The Greddy lags as it is!
A few weeks ago, I disabled the turbo before I had to take it into the body shop... (damn Ford driver hit my PARKED Civic...) and OMG... I can't believe I ever drove without a turbo!
