There are so much variable to figure out CR. Head, head gasket thickness, pistons etc...

need more info..

well im using a gsr head, stock head gasket. the pistons are coming out of an ls block and head with stock head gasket. 9.5:1 comp on the ls. what would it yield in my gsr?? any better?

thanks, i tried that earlier and it wasnt working. it worked this time though. but it still says its 9.5:1 in a gsr, which doesnt seem right to me because i figured they would have a different dome height

It's going to be higher then 9.5:1 because of the combustion chambers of the gsr head. How high? My guess is just as good as yours.

But I'm going to go out on a limb here and estimate about 10:1 + or - .3
