I really don't think its a great idea to fill your car with gas while the engine is running...

Ok.. Do you guys let it cool first or do you just turn it off since it's going to be back on within a couple of mins anyways?

I let it cool. I also do not get gas right after a long freeway drive or if I just stomped on the gas pedal hard.

Dunno. I just do it. My mechanic told me to let my car cool before turning it off. This was when I had a Starion. Guess I just stuck with it.

If you just left your house and went to the corner, just turn her off. But if you've been driving around and have a turbo timer, go in and prepay and your car will be fine when you come out. That's what i always do. Oh yea, just because your gonna turn in back on in a few minutes i don't think matters. The turbo will cool down quickly if you just shut it off and you don't want that to happen if you've been running it at all. Cools down to fast and you get warping, cracking, all that bad stuff.
